Extra Help: There are free tutors available through the counseling department. You may drop in on any of the labs taught at this campus or any other campus for assistance. There are also video tutors that can be purchased from the NPC bookstore.

Testing/Grading: There are chapter tests, pop quizzes, a midterm and a final. Notebooks and semester projects are due at the end of the semester in the stand-alone lecture courses. The midterm is worth 20% of your grade and the final is worth 30% of your grade.
Course Syllabus: You can pick up a syllabus during the first week of class. All course guides for lecture classes are online. The prerequisites, textbook needed, attendance policy, procedures, grading policy, study tips, and personal progress record is included on the syllabus.
Algebra-Based Math for Elementary Teachers I and II over the Internet: Feel free to check out the courses. They are very popular with education students needing to fulfill their math requirements.
