INTERNET COURSES
I now have two courses that are online. They are POS 221 - Arizona Constitution and Government - 1 credit, and POS 222 - U.S. Constitution and Government - 1 credit. While any student can take these courses, they were designed with either prospective teachers or current teachers in mind.
The state of Arizona requires that most teachers either pass a state test on Arizona Constitution and the U.S. Constitution for certification purposes, or that they take a course covering these areas. These two courses were designed to meet the state requirements. The POS 221 - Arizona Constitution course is often taken by students enrolled in education programs, as well as from teachers that are moving to Arizona and need it. The POS 222 - U.S. Constitution course is really designed for teachers who are already certified and are moving to Arizona but have not taken an American Government course during their college years. Non-degreed students can take this course, but there is no guarantee that that this course will transfer to a four-year university. This course is also only offered as pass/fail and not for a grade. It suggested that students who need a course in American Government take the POS 110 - American Government course. This course transfers to all the state universities and satisfies the state' requirements.
If you are interested in visiting these courses you can do so by clicking on the links below. Please note that these sites are not password protected, so feel free to browse around.
